We are so excited to announce the dates of the first Capstone Corner sessions!

Join us on the Quad for a Q&A with different SGA branches to learn more about their roles, current initiatives, and progress toward the goals of the 115th Administration. Our red tent will be located where 6th Ave and University Blvd intersect, near Gallalee Hall.

Rotating Block applications are now open!

Organizations interested in a rotating block for home football games can apply through the SGA website under the “Student Organization Seating” tab.

At 11:00 am on the Wednesday before each home game, participating organizations will be selected through a lottery. The lottery will be streamed live on Instagram at The University of Alabama SGA.

Apply today and be sure to submit your application before the deadline!

Looking back at August at The Capstone!

From embracing campus traditions to welcoming students back to campus, August was a month centered around connection, community, and service. We celebrated College Colors Day with Governor Kay Ivey, collaborated at SGA 101, connected with fellow Alabama student leaders at the 2026 STARS Conference, and met students at Hi Tide Day, Get On Board Day, and Script A.

This year is already off to an amazing start! We can’t wait to see what else this year has in store. Roll Tide!

The Tuscaloosa SAFE Center is a community-based, collaborative agency designed to meet the emotional, medical, and forensic needs of sexual assault survivors by providing quality medical care. Members of the SGA SAFE Center Committee will serve as a liaison between the SAFE Center and The University of Alabama campus community through volunteer and service opportunities, tabling efforts, and educational programming. Through these initiatives, members will support the SAFE Center’s work, raise awareness of available resources, and promote education and social change aimed at ending sexual violence and fostering a safer, more informed campus community.

We are proud to announce that every SOURCE-registered organization that completed the application process will have the opportunity to utilize a block for the 2026 season, as these organizations can apply for a rotating block. An email with details on opting into a rotating block will be sent directly to all SOURCE-registered organization leaders.
