Sometimes this is what Thursday training looks like!

This past Thursday we were deep into our training when we got an emergency call that was all hands on deck. That means that everybody put on their gear and went out to the scene.

That's what we do for our community. You call, we respond fast!

We're looking for people to join us! You don't need a background in this, and you don't have to fight fires to volunteer - we have tons of positions available. You just need to care about your community.

This Fall, we're not just voting for a district, we're investing in protection for our community.

When you vote YES for the Fire Protection District, you're voting for:

✔️ Faster response times and better, safer equipment for our volunteers.
✔️ Dedicated, reliable resources to keep our community safe.
✔️ Lower ISO ratings, which helps keep everyone's homeowner's insurance premiums down.

This is about neighbors protecting neighbors. Talk to your neighbors, ask them if they know what's at stake, and make a plan to vote YES.

Over $10,650. That’s what it costs to safely equip just one of our volunteers before they even step onto a fire truck.

Every piece of this gear - from the boots to the air pack - is an investment in our community’s safety. Making sure our volunteers have top-quality, reliable equipment means they are always ready to answer the call when our neighbors need us most.

This is exactly why the Fire Protection District vote is so critical. Moving to a Fire Protection District provides dedicated, reliable funding to maintain this essential equipment year after year. It means safer conditions for our volunteers and a faster, more secure response for our community.

When our crew is out here training this evening, it's not just about the equipment. It's about the folks who know the backroads of Englewood and Hulls making a commitment. We give our time so that if you ever have to make that call in the middle of the night, you know exactly who is showing up.

Our next board meeting is this Monday, August 3rd at 6:30 PM at the station, and we want to see you there.

These meetings are open public forums because this is YOUR fire department. We're neighbors protecting neighbors, and we want to make sure you have all the facts as we head toward the vote for our Fire Protection District.

Come pull up a chair, talk with your neighbors, and learn what’s at stake.

Thank you to everyone who came out to the Englewood Hulls Fire Station for our CPR Training! We had a great time getting hands-on practice, earning American Heart Association certifications, and sharing lunch together.

Knowing CPR is one of the best ways you can look out for the people around you, we’re incredibly proud to see so many in our community stepping up to learn how to save a life.

This Saturday's Community CPR Training is completely full, so don't forget to show up if you're registered!

We love seeing so many neighbors stepping up to learn how to protect what matters most.
