The Executive Committee of the Epsilon Sigma Phi (ESP) Alpha Pi Chapter is excited to invite you to the 2026 ESP Annual Meeting and Professional Development Conference, taking place on September 17, 2026, at the Opelika Chamber of Commerce (200 S 6th Street, Opelika, AL 36801).

This year’s theme, “Where It All Began: Celebrating the Roots of Extension,” will honor Extension’s rich heritage while looking toward the future through engaging professional development sessions, networking opportunities, and educational tours.

Precision agriculture helps farmers use technology and science to improve efficiency, increase yields and reduce input costs.

Pollinator Plant of the Month - Purple Coneflower

Purple coneflower is a showy native wildflower that attracts bees, butterflies and hummingbirds. Its value doesn’t stop when the flowers fade. The seed heads provide food for goldfinches and other songbirds, while the standing stems can offer nesting habitat for native bees.
