Meet the Class | LeaderUP 2026–2027

Chana Ray | Douglas County Board

What we know and what we have learned about Chana is that serving a community means working with a whole lot of different personalities, perspectives and priorities. Our first class which was all about a True Colors exercise was a perfect reminder that leadership isn’t about getting everyone to think alike. Leadership is learning how to bring different people to the same table and make those differences work.

Prep for a “discussion” Tabletop Exercise with many partners on emergency preparedness and to improve our response and recovery. Thank you to everyone that came to the table and joined in our exercise.
