We took a little time this week to celebrate our August birthdays!

We want to take a moment to recognize and thank our Grady County District 1 crew for the hard work they’ve put into the 10th Street asphalt project in Minco.

Over the last few weeks, these guys have been working long days in 100°+ temperatures to get this project finished before school started. Asphalt work is tough under any conditions, but doing it in this kind of Oklahoma heat takes an incredible amount of dedication.

We’re so grateful for this crew, who continue to show up, work hard, and take pride in improving the roads throughout District 1. Your hard work does not go unnoticed or unappreciated!

We also want to give a big thank you to the Grady County Dist 2 crew for helping with trucking throughout this project. We appreciate the teamwork and their willingness to lend a hand when we need it.

There are 32 counties in OK currently in a burn ban and Grady County is one of them.

Our road crew will begin the 2nd part of a paving project in Minco. Tomorrow morning, August 10th, they will start this project on North Street then proceed North on 10th street to State HWY 152. There will be limited access in this area to minimize delays and to ensure the safety of our crew. Please find an alternate route if possible and share with those who might be affected. Thank you for your understanding and patience while they finish this project.

Our road crew will begin a paving project on 10th Street in Minco. The plan is to start at 7:00 am Monday, August 3rd, on State HWY 81 to North Street. This area will be this weeks focus before the beginning of school.

There will be very limited access so please plan accordingly, and share with others who might be affected.

We appreciate your cooperation and patience during this project.

FYI for those who are in Tuttle City limits!

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Residential trash collection will be starting at 6:00AM

To help protect Republic's employees during summer temperatures and manage increased collection volumes, residential trash routes will now begin at 6:00 AM, effective immediately.

Residents may notice trash trucks in their neighborhoods earlier than usual. To ensure your trash is collected on your scheduled service day, please have your cart placed at the curb BEFORE 6:00 AM.

PLEASE REMEMBER: POLYCARTS SHOULD BE AT THE CURB BEFORE 6:00 AM ON YOUR COLLECTION DAY.
