As we approach the weekend, May weather patterns are re-emerging, bringing a risk of intense thunderstorms this afternoon and evening. Damaging winds with gusts reaching up to 70 mph and hail the size of golf balls is possible. Tornado threat low however it isn’t zero. Good morning. Friday's forecast indicates warm and predominantly sunny conditions with high temperatures reaching the low 90s. There is a slight probability of isolated thunderstorms developing in the afternoon or evening hours, with storms expected to have marginal severity potential.
Saturday is expected to be hotter with breezy conditions and highs approaching the mid-90s. A higher likelihood of thunderstorms is anticipated on Saturday evening, with some storms potentially becoming strong and accompanied by gusty winds or hail. Although the probability of tornadoes is low, it is not zero. Therefore, it is advisable to remain weather-aware.

Today Tuttle Emergency Management attend the quarterly Grady County LEPC (Local Emergency Planning Committee) Meeting in Chickasha. During these meeting we discuss how to better prepare the community in the event of any disaster. Today DEQ Speaker & Other Responder Organizations did a great job of updating the group on hazardous materials, LEPC functions, and our focus on disaster response.
Looking forward to future meetings with local corporation’s, manufactures, city and county leadership attending to list a few. Thanks to Grady County Emergency Management for hosting.

Good morning. Today is expected to be an inclement weather kinda day with rainfall anticipated to begin around lunchtime. The precipitation will bring much-needed moisture with low severe weather conditions expected. However, heavy rain showers may occur intermittently, necessitating caution while driving.
