Our Fossils and Minerals program was great! Thank you Pick and Hammer Club of OU for sharing some your awesome collection and answering all our questions. They brought so many fascinating things including UV reactive minerals!

We're looking for a Summer Intern! This job is perfect for someone who loves helping people and working with children. Applicants must be age 16 or older and this job will provide great experience for a high school student or college student who aspires to work with children in any setting or in a library.

We have two great events coming up this week!

Tomorrow night is our rescheduled Gardening with Native Plants class. Learn about gardening with hardy and beautiful native plants from Angie Hladik, native plant expert. Free resources and door prizes!

On Thursday, come learn all about fossils and minerals in Oklahoma and beyond from the geology experts of OU's Pick and Hammer Club! All ages are welcome.

Today is National Library Outreach Day! We love bringing the joy of the library out into the community by visiting schools and building community partnerships.

This is a fitting time for us to announce that this summer we will install a Story Trail at the Tuttle Soccer Complex Park! A Story Trail is a series of signs featuring pages from a book placed along a walking path in a park or other location. You can take a walk and read a book at the same time! We will provide updates in the near future about the opening date and featured books.
