Tuttle Fire & EMS would like to express sincere appreciation to all military members who have served our country, and especially to those who paid the ultimate sacrifice in service to others. Their dedication and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Several members of TFD recently participated in the Murph workout hosted by The Yard in Tuttle, held in honor of Lt. Michael Murphy and fallen military personnel. The event served as an opportunity to remember, reflect, and recognize the individuals whose service has impacted generations.

TFD is proud of these gentlemen for choosing to take part in something far greater than themselves.

Thank you to The Yard for hosting and allowing TFD members to join.

πŸ‘¨β€πŸš’ Join us in welcoming our newest Firefighter – Jake Carruth

Tuttle Fire & EMS would like to introduce Firefighter Carruth to the community.

Firefighter Carruth joined the department on March 9. He is an EMT and is currently working toward his fire certifications. Prior to joining the department, he gained experience with Pafford EMS and attended Canadian Valley Technology Center in Chickasha to obtain his EMT. Jake is originally from Minco, Oklahoma. He enjoys fishing, hunting, and spending time with friends and family.

Jake is a hardworking individual who is excited for the opportunity to serve and make a positive impact in the community. He is stepping into a career of service, and we are proud to have him as a great addition to the department.

We are excited to watch his growth in the fire service and look forward to all he will accomplish in his career. Welcome to Tuttle, Jake! πŸŽ‰πŸš‘

Last week, Blue Shift, along with Sparky the Fire Dog, had the opportunity to visit a local daycare for a hands-on fire safety visit.

Firefighters took time to show the kids what their gear looks like and explain that even in full equipment, they are there to help and keep people safe. The visit also included an opportunity for the kids to spray water and take a close look at the trucks, giving them a chance to learn in a fun and interactive way.

Tuttle Fire & EMS appreciates the trust the community places in its members to spend time with and educate local children. Visits like this help build comfort and understanding at an early age, and reinforce that firefighters are here to help.
