🚫πŸ”₯ BURN BAN IN EFFECT – TWIN CITY FIRE RESCUE πŸ”₯🚫

Due to exceptional drought conditions in our area, a burn ban is now in effect until further notice.

These conditions have left vegetation extremely dry, creating a dangerous environment where even the smallest spark can quickly turn into a fast-moving, uncontrollable fire within minutes.

🚨 What this means:

❌ NO outdoor burning of any kind
β€’ No yard debris or leaf burning
β€’ No burn barrels or trash burning
β€’ No land clearing or agricultural burns
β€’ No campfires, bonfires, or fire pits

⚠️ Use extreme caution with heat or spark-producing activities
β€’ Avoid grilling over dry grass or near wooded areas
β€’ Do not discard ci******es on the ground
β€’ Be mindful of equipment (chainsaws, trailers, etc.) that can throw sparks
β€’ Avoid parking vehicles on dry grass (hot exhaust can ignite fires)

πŸ”₯ Important Reminder:
Even activities that seem safe can become dangerous under these conditions. Fires can spread rapidly, jump roadways, and threaten homes, property, and lives in a matter of minutes.

Our priority is the safety of our community, and right now the risk is simply too high.

We ask everyone to do their part by following this ban and helping prevent unnecessary emergencies.

If you see smoke or fire, call 911 immediately.
