Dear TFSD Families,

As we prepare for the upcoming school year, we need your help to understand where students will be riding the bus to school. Today, we are officially opening the Bus Service Registration for the 2026-2027 school year.

Why this matters: We design our bus routes every year based on the families who sign up. Even if your child rode the bus last year, you must fill out this form so we can accurately map stops and keep ride times as short as possible.

Deadline to register: July 31

Bye, bye birdie! Our staff and students have all flown off to start their summer vacations. Before the year ended we had an extra guest appear a few time. Kai the Hagerman Magpie stopped by and literally said "hi!" She was a rescued, hand-raised magpie who says a few words and barks like a dog (maybe next year she will learn to roar like a lion)! She tends to favor Rock Creek Elementary School but she has shown an interest in Lincoln, too.

We would like to take a moment to thank Theo, the man behind the mask. He kindly came to every Lincoln event this year. The kids gravitated towards him. He was a real natural as the Lincoln Lion. He really brought our mascot to life. Thanks Theo, you did an amazing job!

As a thank you to the Lincoln Staff, Mrs. McKenzie and Ms. Mauch invited everyone to West Wood Coffee and Social for a hot drink and a tasty snack. It has truly "bean" a great year!

"If you give a child a book" was a huge success. The kids loved selecting 5 new books for free. Mrs. Emery works hard to make this a special event. A big thanks to Mrs. Valentiner for explaining what a valuable gift this was for our students.

Every kid at Lincoln Elementary in Twin Falls got to pick 5 free books to take home. 📚 What book do you remember loving as a kid? Tell us in the comments!

Make sure to send off Ms. Connie and Ms. Pav with lots of appreciation. The 2 of them have about 60 years experience combined in education. They have both decided to retire. They really take the cake for the work that they do at Lincoln. We wish them the best.

Ms. Amanda just recently graduated from CSI. We are so proud of her. We asked her to lead the Canyon Ridge graduates on their parade through Lincoln. Some of our students walked with siblings who are graduating and some of our staff walked with their kids! Congratulations everyone.
