🚨CASE UPDATE | INTERNET CRIMES AGAINST CHILDREN🚨
The Twin Lakes Police Department is pleased to share a significant case update following an investigation into an individual who traveled to Twin Lakes believing he was meeting a 15-year-old minor, but was instead met with Twin Lakes Police Officers.
Daniel J. Renteria, 26, of Rockford, Illinois, was sentenced to 10 years of initial confinement followed by 13 years of extended supervision after being convicted of offenses including Computer Facilitation of a Child S*x Crime and Possession of Child Po*******hy.
This case serves as an important reminder that individuals who use the internet to target children will be identified, investigated, and held accountable.
The Twin Lakes Police Department would like to thank the Kenosha County District Attorney’s Office and the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force for their partnership and outstanding work throughout this investigation.
