Good Morning: I hope everyone was/is safe during our last storm of last night. The park looks good with the exception of the road being washed out, which we will get cleaned up today. The storm of Wednesday did some damage to an old Oak. Nobody got hurt and the way the tree split and came down nothing was hit. Thank you Dear Lord. Again if cones are up do not drive any further we did get a good amount of rain out of both storms or text me to ask if it ok to drive in. Hope to see everyone at our Meat and Greet get together on Saturday 6:00. Kathy

Good Afternoon: Good News the pool will be open this Saturday 5/23--of course weather permitting. It will probably not be perfect but it will be open. The prices are the same as last year--$130.00 for a family of five; one person $55.00; two people $75.00; three people $100.00; seniors one person $45.00; two people $65.00 daily rates are $5.00 per person. Babies 16 months and under free. We are still doing reservations. Please text 708)502-0283. I know the weather isn't looking the best but it will be great to see everyone again. Let the summer fun begin.

In only a few days Melody Park will open the gates (May 1st) A couple reminders: if you see a cone out-please do not go around it. It is telling you that the grounds are not dried out. Not only can you ruin the grass but there is a good chance your car might get stuck. Load and unload is what it means please do not leave your car parked by your site. Some areas in the Park are in good shape others not so good. Working with this weather has been challenging but we did manage to clean up the park somewhat. Hope to see most of you this weekend.

WOW what a difference a day makes. While the sun is out right now the wind is terrible. This is just a reminder about Rake, Blow and Burn this Saturday November 15th 10:00. So far its looking like the weather is going to be somewhat nice--high 50's low 60's. With the wind that we have had a lot of leaves have fallen but their is still more to come down. Don't forget your white elephant gift-wrapped- please. See everyone on Saturday. Kathy

Good Morning Campers: I just did a check of the park and there is no damage, however we did loose our electric for a short time and we did get a huge amount of rain. If you normally drive to your camper to unload please ask first as the grounds are pretty soaked. Also just a reminder if you are attending the end of the year party and haven't turned in your slip or let me know by text I do need a count. If it is easier please text me if you are joining us. POOL UPDATE: Sunday June 1st--well the leak is fixed--tomorrow we will have the pool pressure tested and if all goes well we will begin to fill the hole and do the concrete work where necessary. Because of weather and the time it is going to take to get the pool cleaned up and the chemicals placed in I think Friday is a more realist day for opening.

UPDATE ON POOL OPENING--- Providing the next steps in fixing the broken pipe goes as planned--Tuesday looks to be the best day for opening. Again I stress everything has to go as planned. However, if you want to come and just sit around the pool I am open to that on Sunday. So sorry for this inconvenience but until we actually started the pool did we come across this problem. Stay tuned and I will do another posting when I know for sure we can open. Thank you for your understanding. Kathy

Good Morning Swimmers: So far we are still hoping for the pool to open Saturday May 24th, of course weather and start up of the pool permitting. I will be selling seasonal passes on Saturday and Sunday May 17th and 18th from 10-1. Unfortunately I did have to raise prices, but I still consider it to still be reasonable. You will still have to text 708)502-0283 for reservations. I am permitting outside non-seasonal swimmers in, but only if there is room. As you know I do try really hard to place people in their favorite spots. The following represents the current pricing: Family of Five-$130.00; extra family member $20.00; One Person $55.00; Two People $75.00; Three People-$100.00; Senior Citizens One Person-$45.00; Two People $65.00; Daily per person $5.00; Senior Citizens $4.00.
