Another Twin Oaks Park Improvement Notice 🌳

Fresh sealer was just applied to the park walking paths. Please, please, pretty please 🙏🏻, do not duck under, go around, or otherwise ignore the park closure barricades.

Staying off the wet surface prevents sticky messes on shoes and paws and helps the new surface set properly over the coming days. Thank you for your cooperation!

Quick update on our park improvements! 🌳

The crews have been working hard and making great progress, but to safely finish the project, the park will remain closed through at least the second week of September.

We have some exciting features in store and promise it will be well worth the wait! Thank you for your continued patience as we make Twin Oaks Park better than ever. ✨

Safety Alert - school is back in session soon! 🏫🎒✏️🍎

Yellow buses, shiny new backpacks, and morning coffee runs are back! As local students at Twin Oaks Christian School and the Valley Park School District head back to the classroom this week and next, please keep a few quick road safety tips in mind:

🚌 Watch Out for Buses: Give school buses plenty of room, and remember that stopping for flashing red lights and extended stop arms keeps our kids safe on their daily commute.

🚸 Stay Alert in the Mornings: Morning routines mean extra foot traffic, bikes, and young pedestrians near neighborhoods, crosswalks, and school zones. Keep eyes on the road and put away distractions.

🕑 Pack Extra Patience: Afternoon pickup times bring heavier traffic and busier intersections. Plan for a few extra minutes during your travel so you can take it easy and navigate smoothly.

Thank you for doing your part to keep our streets safe for everyone. Here’s to a great and safe school year!

🚨 Yes, we see you. 🚨

To everyone channeling their inner ninja and ducking under or around the "PARK CLOSED" barricades: your stealth skills are a 10/10, but your timing is a 0/10! 🥷🚧

A friendly reminder that Twin Oaks Park is completely closed to ALL visitors—including pedestrians—until the end of the month for planned asphalt paving.

We know, we know... the sun is shining, the park looks inviting, and you think, "Surely one quick shortcut won't hurt!" But wet, fresh asphalt has a tragic way of permanently customizing your favorite sneakers and ruining the smooth new pathways we’re working hard to put down. Plus, dodgeball with heavy construction equipment is not an officially sanctioned park activity.

Please respect the signs and stay outside the caution tape so our crew can work! 🚜💨
