Celebrating 25 Years of Service

Congratulations to Sheriff Service Specialist Barbara Calvert on an incredible 25 years of hard work, dedication, and service to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department!

Barbara began her career in dispatch before transferring to the Victorville Station as a Sheriff Service Specialist. She later transferred to the Coroner’s Division, where she became a Deputy Coroner Investigator. Today, Barbara serves as a Sheriff Service Specialist at the Twin Peaks Station, where she is responsible for Property and Evidence as well as automotive.

Throughout her career, Barbara has gained an incredible wealth of knowledge and experience. Her dedication, professionalism, and commitment to the department have made her a valued member of the SBCSD family.

Thank you, Barbara, for 25 years of outstanding service and dedication. Your commitment to the department and the community is truly appreciated.

Recently, two of our Explorers had the opportunity to attend the City of Fontana’s Explorer Leadership Academy.

The goal for Cody and Jeremiah was to enhance their leadership knowledge and skills and bring what they learned back to their fellow Explorers at their post. Throughout the academy, they gained valuable leadership experience, learned new skills, and challenged themselves to grow as leaders.

We’re proud to say they successfully completed the academy!

Congratulations, Cody and Jeremiah! We’re excited to see how you continue to grow as leaders and share your knowledge with those around you. Great job! 👏
