The Minnesota AFL-CIO has endorsed our campaign.

That's a federation of more than 1,000 Local Unions and more than 300,000 working Minnesotans. I am honored.

Beth McCuskey of the Northeast Minnesota Area Labor Council said working people up here "deserve to have a congressional representative who is accessible, an outspoken advocate for labor unions across our region and the willingness to have some tough conversations." That is the job. That is what I intend to do.

I grew up in a union household in Hermantown. My dad was a union carpenter. My mom a union nurse for over 42 years, and I carried an AFGE card for a decade.
