We're coming upon tourist season so I'm sending out a reminder to all that the Lighthouse grounds are off limits to the general public. It is an active aid to navigation and also a recreation facility for military families. The lighthouse can be viewed from the boardwalk and beach by the public but please remember to respect the privacy of the personnel using the facility.
