East Water Tower Painting Project

Starting tomorrow, September 2, a contractor will begin an interior painting project at the East Water Tower at Walsh Field on Picnic Hill.

The specialized interior coating helps protect the tank from corrosion, maintain water quality, and extend the life of the tower.

💧 The project is expected to take approximately 4 weeks.
💧 There will be increased truck, trailer, equipment, and contractor activity around the tower.
💧The area may be congested, but access to the nearby apartments will remain open.
💧 Water service and water pressure will not be affected.

⚡Safety First, Always! Today our Linecrew completed annual pole top rescue training, a vital part of being a safe and effective Lineman.

At TRU, safety is more than just a checklist, it's a culture. We train every crew member to be ready for the unexpected. Because when you're 30-feet in the air every second counts.

We are proud of all crew members for their dedication to safety and preparedness to ensure they are always ready to protect one another.

A BIG thank you to the organizers and everyone in our community who helped bring us together for such a wonderful evening, even with the rain! We’re already looking forward to next year! 💙

Two of our own linemen, Darrick and Tyler, have traveled to Menasha to assist with mutual aid and power restoration efforts following yesterday's devastating tornado.

When neighboring communities are in need, public power utilities come together to help restore service and support one another during difficult times.

Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone in Menasha and the surrounding communities affected by this storm! 💙
