Thank you to everyone who came out survived the heat with us yesterday for our epic photo! It turned out great! Thank you to Tybee Island Maritime Academy, our photographers, William Hamilton of Hamilton Creative and Sabrina Sancomb of The Local Edit! And the Tybee Arts Association for their dramatic reading of the Declaration of Independence!

A reading of the Declaration of Independence by the Tybee Arts Association

Today is the day! Today we celebrate America’s 250th birthday. Exactly 250 years ago today the Declaration of Independence was read for the first time in the state of Georgia. Today at 1 PM with the help of the Tybee Arts Association we will be reenacting that reading. Admission free from 12:15 to 4:30. Hope to see you there!

Don't forget our celebration of 250 years for our great country this coming Monday the 10th at 12:15 PM. Free admission, a dramatic reading of the Declaration by the Tybee Art's Association at 1 PM, and craft time for the kids at 2 PM. We hope to see you here!
