Thursday night was a powerful reminder of what happens when we are intentional about creating opportunities for people to connect, share, and grow together.
Our Legacy & Leadership: Celebrating Black Business & Philanthropy in East Texas event was filled with meaningful networking, powerful conversations, well-deserved recognition, and connections that we believe will continue long after the evening ended.
We celebrated Black businesses and leaders making an impact across East Texas, but we also talked about something that has always been part of who we are: GIVING. For generations, we have given our time, resources, talents, wisdom, service, and support to help our families and communities move forward. Philanthropy isn’t always about writing a check. Sometimes it’s opening a door, making an introduction, mentoring someone, supporting a business, or simply showing up.
That is the kind of legacy we want to continue building.
