A permitted outdoor fire will take place on May 27 at 2225 Roy Road. The burn is scheduled under an approved outdoor burning permit and will last until Sunday, May 31, 2026.

A permitted outdoor fire will take place tomorrow at 12229 Hwy 155 S. The burn is scheduled as part of an approved outdoor burning permit and will last until Thursday, May 28, 2026.

There will be a fireworks show tonight, Tuesday, May 5, at Javi's, located at 7212 Old Jacksonville Hwy. This fireworks show will start at 8:30 p.m.
Please be sure to secure any pets that might get scared.

A fireworks permit has been approved for Saturday, April 25, at Founder's Classical Academy located at 3405 E Grande Blvd. This fireworks show will start at 10:30 p.m.

We are participating in a statewide emergency alert system drill on Thursday, April 2, between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. Residents will receive test emergency notifications during this time and may receive multiple messages from participating agencies. A fireworks permit has been approved for tomorrow, March 27, at the University of Texas at Tyler, located at 3900 University Blvd. This fireworks show will start at 9 p.m.

The Tyler Fire Department has issued an Outdoor Burning Permit at 8667 South Broadway Avenue. Burning is expected to start on Monday, Feb. 23, and last until Wednesday, March 4.
