🐾 Griffin Families — Let’s Fill the Pantry 🧡💙

The 36th Annual Food Pantry Drive is here, and we need our Bulldogs’ help!

Students can bring canned goods to school and drop them off in the morning for their grade level.

Grade Level Challenge: The grade level that collects the most cans will earn a Popsicle Party at recess!

Extra Special Prize: The top 3 classes with the most canned goods and monetary donations will get the opportunity to run onto the field with the Tyler High Lions on October 16th!

Let’s show our Bulldog spirit, help families in our community, and see which grade level can collect the MOST! 🐾

You may also:
💵 Send cash with your student to give to their teacher, or
💵 Bring payment to the front office.

Please make sure cash payments include your, student’s name and teacher’s name, so we can make sure they receive their treat.

A huge THANK YOU to two wonderful community members, Johnny Butler and Cedric Washington, for providing lunch for our Griffin staff during our PD day before the start of school!

Our staff absolutely loved the lunch, but even more, we appreciate knowing that we have community members who support our teachers, staff, and Bulldogs.

Thank you, Johnny and Cedric, for thinking of us and helping us start the school year feeling appreciated and supported. We are so grateful!

It takes a community to support our Bulldogs, and we are thankful you are part of ours!

What a GREAT first day at Griffin Elementary!

Our Bulldogs came in ready to learn, and our teachers and staff were ready to welcome them with lots of smiles and Bulldog pride! We are so excited for the year ahead.

Thank you to our amazing families and staff for making the evening so special. We loved welcoming everyone back, meeting new faces, and getting ready for an incredible school year.

Griffin Families,

We are excited to welcome you to *Meet the Teacher!* Come meet your child’s teacher, visit the classroom, and receive important information for the new school year.

Our *PTA will be selling Griffin spirit shirts*, and *Mentoring Alliance will be available to accept applications for the after-school program*. We will also hold our *first Title I Parent Meeting of the year*.

Please volunteer and be part of our team to support our Bulldogs.

We’re still looking for awesome parents to join our PTA Board, and honestly… it’s one of the easiest ways to spend more fun time with your kid at school.

You get to be part of events they’re excited about, help create things they’ll remember forever, and show up in ways they actually notice. Plus, they think it’s pretty cool when their grown‑up is “one of the PTA people.”

Please use this guide when purchasing school clothing to ensure your child is ready for the first day of school.
