It is with heavy hearts that the Walthall County Sheriff’s Office announces the death of former TAC Officer Jessica Jones after a valiant battle with cancer. Jessica faithfully served the citizens of Walthall County for almost twenty-three years in various positions but served as dispatch supervisor/TAC Officer for the last several years of her career. Jessica, or Jess as she was called by her family and friends, had a passion for helping people, and that was evident in her relationship with her family, friends, and in the career that she had chosen. Jess loved dispatching and was always willing to pass along her knowledge to new dispatchers. Her presence in the office will be sorely missed.

Please keep Jessica’s family and friends in your thoughts and prayers in the coming days as they prepare to lay her to rest.
