The Bon Homme Count Highway will be accepting applications for summer help. Must be 18 years or older. Work period will be May to August 7:00-5:30 Monday-Thursday.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of County Commissioners, sitting as a County Board of Equalization of Bon Homme County, South Dakota will meet at Bon Homme County Commissioner Room located in the Bon Homme Courthouse in said County on Tuesday, the 14th day of April, 2026, for the purpose of reviewing, correcting and equalizing the assessment of said County for the year 2026 and shall continue in session and may adjourn from time to time until all properly filed appeals have been determined and equalization is completed but no later than April 22, 2026.

Bon Homme County has lifted the burn ban!

Bon Homme County will be in a burn ban until further notice!

Burn ban will be lifted for today only! It is still extremely dry out. Use caution if you must burn today and have it out by dark. Burn ban will go back into effect tommorow March 5, 2026.
