The Mission of the Tyngsborough Fire department: Is to provide a range of programs designed to protect the lives and property of the citizens of our community, from the adverse effects of Fire, Sudden Medical, or Exposure to Dangerous conditions either natural or man made.

The Normandy American Cemetery sits on a bluff above Omaha Beach. It is the final resting place of 9,388 Americans who gave the last full measure of devotion to their country and the cause of freedom around the world on , 82 years ago today. Upon the memorial is an inscription:

"This embattled shore, portal of freedom, is forever hallowed by the ideals, the valor and the sacrifices of our fellow countrymen."

Following Town Meeting's overwhelming approval on May 5, voters will be asked at tomorrow's annual town election to authorize the final design & construction of a new Fire Department Headquarters. Residents can learn more about the project at tyngsboroughma.gov.
