🚔 Maintain Distance at Every Stop 🚔

Just like dominoes… one crash can trigger another.

If a driver rear-ends you and your vehicle strikes the car in front of you, you may still be held liable for the collision you caused ahead. Maintaining a safe stopping distance gives you room to react and can help prevent a chain-reaction crash.

✅ Leave enough space between vehicles
✅ Stay alert at intersections and stoplights
✅ Drive defensively — even when stopped

A few extra feet can make all the difference. Drive safe and protect yourself and others on the road.

🚨 Lane Changes & Merging Safety Reminder 🚨

Before changing lanes or merging into traffic:

✅ Use your turn signal
✅ Check your mirrors and blind spots
✅ Make sure the movement can be made safely
✅ Don’t force other drivers to brake suddenly

Safe driving helps prevent crashes and keeps everyone on the roadway protected.

📖 Georgia Law — O.C.G.A. § 40-6-123 states that a driver shall not change lanes or move right or left upon a roadway unless the movement can be made with reasonable safety and with an appropriate signal.

🌧️ Adverse Weather Reminder 🌫️
When visibility is reduced, turn on your headlights — not just for you, but so others can see you on the roadway. Georgia Code § 40-8-20, drivers are required to use headlights during periods of low visibility, including rain, smoke, or fog.
A simple action can prevent serious crashes and keep everyone safer.
🚔 Don’t wait until it’s too late — make yourself visible and avoid an unwanted encounter today.
*Drive smart. Stay safe.

🚔 TRAFFIC PSA: How to Use a Roundabout 🚔

Roundabouts keep traffic moving safely—when used correctly. Here’s a quick guide:

🔄 Approach with caution
Slow down and watch for posted yield signs.

🚸 Yield to traffic already in the roundabout
Vehicles inside the circle have the right of way.

➡️ Choose your lane before entering
Follow lane markings and signs for your intended exit.

🔁 Enter when clear
Do not stop once inside—keep moving with traffic flow.

📍 Use your turn signal when exiting
Let others know your intention to exit the roundabout.

🚶 Watch for pedestrians and cyclists
Always yield at crosswalks.

❌ Do NOT stop in the roundabout (unless required for safety)
❌ Do NOT drive against traffic

Let’s work together to keep our roads safe and traffic flowing smoothly.
