Yesterday morning 5/25 the Tower, Engine, Rescue, & Squad participated in the Tyrone Memorial Day parade along many other community groups. The flag detail was extra special this year as we had the opportunity to display the flag with new Truck 22 from Columbia Fire Company from Osceola Mills. Truck 22 was previously Hookies Truck 33 which Columbia purchased off of us last summer. They did a fantastic job making it theirs & it looks amazing. We want to thank our friends from Columbia for always assisting us with this detail on Memorial Day. We greatly appreciate it!!!

Yesterday 5/21 Howell Rescue Systems was in the house to perform some preventative maintenance to our Genesis hydraulic rescue tools. All of our hydraulic tools, hoses, & hydraulic pumps were checked out. The tools themselves were tested then taken apart & cleaned. Any minor repairs that were needed done were completed at that time. We want to thank Howell for coming in & making sure our tools & accessories are performing as they should. Station 34 Neptunes also had their hydraulic tools & accessories tested.

Engine 33 in draft supplying Rescue 33 at Reservoir Park.

Last evening 5/19 members of the 33 House loaded up on the Engine, Rescue & Squad to take in a little pump training at Reservoir Park. Under the direction of Chief 33, operator candidates for the Engine & Rescue practiced their pumping skills with the Engine put into draft & supplying the Rescue. Different flows were maintained thru a step gun off of the Rescue along with the deck gun off the Engine. After getting some pump time in the candidates took to the street for some driving time. We will be out & about a lot more with the nice weather upon us.
