After a notification of a possible sexual assault of a child from Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office. Detective Buess conducted a thorough investigation with help from Corporal Munoz. During the investigation, evidence pointed to suspect Olman Rodilberto Valladares Zapata a 39 year old male. Uhland Police Officers arrested the suspect today in Buda, Texas. Valladares was charged with two counts aggravated sexual assault of a child, one count sexual assault of a child, and one count indecency with a child. He was booked into the Hays County Jail.

Our Police Department is not participating in these operations. Federal agencies are conducting their activities independently, and our officers are not assisting or working alongside them.

Our department remains focused on our primary mission of serving and protecting our community by responding to calls for service, preventing crime, and ensuring public safety for everyone in our city.
