We brought some adorable monsters to life at last week's Pocket Monster Makerspace. With a bit of surplus fabric, spare buttons, colorful thread, and imagination, these creatures came together to brighten everyone's Halloween.

At last Saturday's LOBA Poetry Series event, we welcomed Sonoma County poet, Jack Crimmins who read from his latest book "The Light in California." A big thank you to Jack for his wonderful reading!

This monthly series is curated and hosted by our very own Melissa Eleftherion Carr, Ukiah's Poet Laureate Emeritus. Melissa opens every LOBA event with a passage from Diane Di Prima's 1978 visionary epic poem, "LOBA."

We invite poets, writers, and all appreciators of arts to an hour of inspiration at our monthly LOBA Poetry Series events on the third Saturday of each month. Join us on November 21st as we welcome Jabez "Bill" Churchill. We hope to see you there!

Join us tomorrow, October 21st at 3 PM for this important event for seniors and those retiring soon. We'll be holding a Medicare 101 workshop to give attendees a clearer understanding of their Medicare options and to go over key changes coming in 2027.
