Please Join Us for our Annual Summer Solstice Soiree Fundraiser. This year it’s VIRTUAL!
When: On-line Bidding Starts at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 24 and ends at 10 p.m. Sunday, June 27
Where: Anywhere you are! Though some items (like wine and services) are only available to California or local residents.
How: Just go to: https://summersolsticesoiree.ggo.bid/ You can view a sneak peak of all the items and set up your bidding account. Once you start bidding you will receive text updates on your items and encouragement to keep bidding until the auction ends on Sunday night. We will contact the winners a few days following!
Note: You will need to enter a credit card to register. However, we do not collect funds until winners are contacted and confirmed and given an option for how they want to pay their donation. Check, cash and cards are all accepted. Venmo too!
Who: This VIRTUAL AUCTION FUNDRAISER BENEFITS Hearthstone Village. We will give 100% of the funds to support the Reveil Matinal Orphanage in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. For over 10 years, Hearthstone Village has supported the home life, nutrition, and education of over 33 girls. We support the staff with a living wage and send the girls to private schools that are alignment with their scholastic goals and aptitude. We also support hem with tutors and bring in teachers for our special needs girls. In the last several years, 10 girls have graduated high school (or will graduate as of this summer). With only 10% of people in all of Haiti with high school degrees, this is a massive achievement and one we hope to sustain. This fundraiser is specifically for our General Fund which supports the staff and home costs, securing a safe environment for the girls to thrive in this chaotic country.
What: The auction features over 50 special items including coastal homes in Mendocino County and Baja, a Tahoe condo, handmade furniture, artwork, wine, experiences and more. MARK YOUR CALANDER, FRIENDS. Bidding starts Thursday, June 24 and ends the evening of Sunday, June 27.
