This free community event is designed to help older adults, caregivers, and families discover local resources, learn about health and safety topics, and connect with trusted services across Southwest Kansas.

CITY OF ULYSSES
SPRING CLEAN UP
Tree and limb pick up: April 6th-10th
Please have trees and limbs out before April 5th.
Residential clean up: April 13th-17th
The City Crew will pick up items placed in the alley behind your property. If you do not have an alley, place items in front of your house, out of the way of traffic. Do not place items beside trash containers or block the alley. If you do not want something picked up, mark it as “NOT TRASH” or “DO NOT TAKE.”
Items that will be picked up include: furniture, appliances, mattresses, wood, etc. Please sort items into categories: wood, metals, and appliances.
Items that will NOT be picked up include: tires, concrete, chemicals, and items located on personal property.
The City Crew will begin on the west side of town and work through to the east side. Only one trip will be made through the entire town.
The Grant County Transfer Station will be open free of charge April 13th-18th.
*Please be advised to not include lumber in piles of tree limbs.*
