🚧 Upcoming Road Closure Notice 🚧
As part of Umatilla's Saturday Market activities, H Street between 6th Street and 7th Street will be temporarily closed from Friday, June 12, through Monday, June 15.

The Umatilla Public Library - OR will remain open and accessible during the closure. Parking is available on surrounding streets and in the City Hall parking lot.

Please follow posted detour signs and use extra caution around pedestrians in the area.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue to support community events and enhance our downtown experience.

As we get closer to launching Umatilla's new ♻️ curbside recycling program ♻️ with our partner, Sanitary Disposal/Waste Connections, we've updated our Recycling Program webpage with the latest information to help residents prepare.

You'll find:

• Key dates and program updates

• A new FAQ section

• Recycling guides and helpful resources

Recycling cart delivery is currently scheduled to begin the week of June 21. Curbside recycling service officially starts July 6.

As the school year comes to a close, the Umatilla Public Library - OR is inviting local kids to kick off summer with Curiosity Club! Designed for ages 5–12, Curiosity Club gives young learners a chance to create, explore, and discover through hands-on activities like crafts, scavenger hunts, games, and more.

The first session takes place on June 2 at 10 AM, with more summer fun planned throughout the season. Families looking for engaging and creative activities are encouraged to check out everything Curiosity Club has to offer at the library this summer.
