Mrs. Wilson's fifth grade class took a walking field trip to the story walk at the Unadilla Public Library to view their book Operation Dodgeball Takeover.

This book project was introduced by Mrs. Post, their math teacher. Students worked together to write and illustrate a picture book focusing on a math topic they studied this year.

The library will continue to collect the stretch plastic for the school. The NexTrex had started a new NexTrex recycling challenge Program. The program goes by quarters. If the school gets 250 lbs for the quarter they will earn an entry into a drawing. You can look up for more information at

Keep dropping your plastic off at the library. We have the collection bin to put your plastic film in. We collect it throughout the year.

Updated information on the Unatego Elementary School recycling plastic contest. They won the Elementary Division!! They collected 1,346 lbs. The school won ice cream for the whole Elementary School. We want to thank everyone who helped the school win. The library's total we gave the school was 525 lbs.
