will be held across from Caddo Outpost on Saturday, May 2 from 8am-2pm.
Dumpsters will be provided.
NO-household trash, hazardous waste materials or raw wood (tree limbs, fencing etc) will be accepted. *Rimless tires will be accepted again this year. *
NOTHING LARGER THAN WHAT CAN BE MANUALLY LIFTED INTO THE DUMPSTERS!!!
Volunteers are welcome and needed.

Although Harrison County lifted the previous burn ban and the City of Uncertain follows the County’s burn ban ordinances, the City of Uncertain recommends that all citizens and community members refrain from open burning at this time. Steady winds and extremely dry conditions are highly favorable situations for fires easily becoming uncontrolled.

Burn Ban for Harrison County Effective 1/1/2026 @ 3pm
Due to extremely dry conditions a ban on outdoor fires and fireworks will start today. This order is only for the unincorporated areas of the county. Cities may or may not order a burn ban.

Thank you to all the volunteer firemen who have been serving all over the county. Even today, many are responding to several fires.

From days of old to recent times, the Uncertain, TX Christmas Parade has been a tradition for almost 50 years!! Come be a part of history and have a great time by joining the parade!
-This Saturday, December 20th!
-Register your entry at the Cypress Village boat ramp at 1:30pm; parade launches at 2pm.
-Captain Patrick Collins will lead the way!
-Judging, trophies, benefit bake sale and prize money ($300, $200 and $100) at Johnson’s Ranch!
-Santa* and Mrs Claus will be our special guests in the parade and will hear children’s wishes afterwards!
(* please do not dress up as Santa since kids will want to see the REAL Santa, and we don’t want to confuse them. ❤️)
