HALL RENTAL UPDATE
As many people have been made aware, our hall has been unavailable for bookings as a result of the construction on our firehouse. We have been unable to guarantee availability with certainty.

We are pleased to announce that we have started booking for the end of the year after August 15th, 2026. Our hall will be available for $350 for a four hour rental. Please email [email protected] or call us at 732-217-1161 and leave a message for any questions or to request our hall for your event.

We await the go-ahead for bookings earlier than 8/15 and will make the announcement once we can.

Happy International Firefighters Day!
We thank the dedicated members who step up and make a difference in the community! Our volunteer firefighters answer the call, serve our residence and the community at large, and go home knowing they were able to make someone's worst day a little bit brighter.

Thank you to all firefighters for the sacrifices you make for the greater good!

This weekend marks the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Weekend, a solemn occasion where firefighters who lost their lives in the line of duty are honored nationwide. The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF) organizes this weekend, providing support to fire departments, fire service personnel, and families as they pay tribute to the fallen annually. We would like to take a moment to pay respects to our own fallen firefighters from Union Beach, who are also remembered at the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial in Emmitsburg, MD:

Every year, the NFFF sponsors the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Weekend, the official tribute to all firefighters who died in the line of duty.

Members of 65-2 and 65-4 staffed Engine 65-4-84 along with Asst. Chief Rice to assist the Union Beach American Legion Post 321 in a flag retirement ceremony at the Monmouth County Fire Academy. This is a formal burning ceremony, overseen by our veterans, to retire old, worn Star-Spangled Banners in a respectful manner, honoring those who fought for the flag and country.

Members of the Union Beach Fire Department are currently out clearing snow covered hydrants. In the event of a fire, the fire hydrants are our primary source of water supply to extinguish it. Blocked or snow covered hydrants can cost valuable seconds, delaying fire attack and our ability to save lives. We would like to extend our thanks to the residents who have kept us in their minds and keep their nearby fire hydrants clear. A majority of the hydrants we have inspected tonight are already cleared of snow, keep up the good work UB, and thank you for your support!

It is with great pride that we say congratulations to Firefighter Angela Navarro on her remarkable accomplishment of graduating from Monmouth County Fire Academy's Firefighter 1 Class 143. The Firefighter 1 and Firefighter 2 program requires 280 hours of rigorous training, both mentally and physically. Angela joined our fire company in April 2025 and has subsequently developed her firefighting skills and expertise significantly. She has been an exemplary and driven member of our team and we look forward to seeing her continue to grow and succeed.
