With 2025 quickly approaching, Union Hose wanted to put out an important message! We will only be taking hall rentals from January to June.

In July we are going to undergo construction to our building. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Please be patience with us as we navigate this project.

10 years ago today we lost Robert “Hawk” Meyer in the line of duty. He is so missed by all. We will never forget you brother and we will always toast to you on your anniversary. Love you Hawk ❤️🙏🏻

On the eve of Honoring all the heroes who gave the ultimate sacrifice for their community I remember our Hero Robert “Hawk” Meyer. It’s almost 10 years since that night in June that I’ll never forget. We miss and think of you all the time and you’ll never be forgotten. Until we meet again my brother.

HALL RENTAL INFO BELOW:

If your looking to rent our hall it’s $300 for 4 hrs an extra hour is $100. It fits 60-70 people comfortable. You can check dates available by clicking on Hall Rentals Availability on our page(PC only) or click on the link below👇🏻 (Calender.google). Call 732 217 1161 and leave message with the date your interested in and someone will call you back or leave a IM on this page or email us at [email protected].

Our outside rentals have changed. It’s $350 for 4hrs but you the renter are responsible for renting the tables, chairs and tent from an outside company. We no longer supply our equipment.

Dear Neighbors, The Union Beach Fire Department is conducting a benefit on Saturday, January 13, from 2-7PM, at the Union Beach Fire Company, 1110 Union Ave. The benefit is to assist the Koisa Family with medical bills and various financial issues.

Joe Koisa was a member of the Union Beach Fire Department for 63 years. He served as Chief of Department, in 1983. He was born in 1940, lived in Union Beach his entire life and passed away during August, 2023.

Despite several medical issues, Joe was still answering fire calls at age 80. He was not only dependable but a great friend and mentor to all of our members. He will be sorely missed. The love of Joe’s life, Lorraine, was also active in our department, serving with the Harris Gardens Auxiliary.

Please consider attending the event. You can order a meal to go, if you like. If time does not allow, a donation is welcome.

Joe was a great guy and we so much want to help. Thank You Neighbors.

January 9th is National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day.

Thank you to the men & women of the UBPD that work hard to help keep Union Beach safe. Thank you to the brave officers who have also assisted us in any fire matter & made things go smoother. Together we make a great team to keep our little town safe. If you see any officer today, make sure you say thank you or just give them a wave. Union Hose appreciates you 💙
