We will review the August election and turn our focus to the November election.

Congratulations to Obion County Sheriff Karl Jackson on his appointment by Governor Bill Lee to the Tennessee Corrections Institute Board of Control, effective August 6, 2026!

This is a well-deserved honor and a testament to Sheriff Jackson's dedication and leadership in law enforcement here in Obion County. His experience will be a tremendous asset to the Board as it works to set training and operational standards for correctional facilities across our state.

Obion County, it’s time to make your voice heard! 🇺🇸

The Obion County Republican Party is proud to support conservative candidates for County Commission and key county offices in the upcoming election. Early voting runs July 17 – August 1, 2026 at the Obion County Election Commission Office, 308 Bill Burnett Circle, Union City (Monday–Friday 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m., Saturday 9:00 a.m.–noon).

Election Day is Thursday, August 6, 2026. Mark your calendar, bring a friend or family member, and let’s turn out strong for our county, our values, and our future.

The Obion County Republican Party was proud to be well represented at the 2026 Tennessee Republican Party Statesman’s Dinner tonight in Nashville.
We are grateful for the sponsorship and support of Lifeline Voice and Data, and for the strong turnout from Obion County and surrounding areas. Our delegation enjoyed a great evening of fellowship, networking, and conservative leadership as we work to keep Tennessee strong and Republican.

This is a reminder we are skipping a May meeting Tuesday evening May 5th due to it being election day.

If you didn't vote early we encourage you to vote today especially if you are in District 1 (South Fulton) or District 5 (Cloverdale, Hornbeak, Samburg) These districts have contested county commission races in the Republican primary.
