🍂 Fall fun is officially hitting the racks! 🍂

Our new Union City Parks & Recreation fall rack cards are here, and there’s still plenty of fun ahead in 2026!

🎬 Fall Movie Night kicks things off September 18 with a movie under the stars.

🦃 Then, keep your eyes peeled during our Turkey Hunt in November. Hidden turkeys will be popping up throughout our parks, with prizes up for grabs!

🎅 And before the year wraps up, Santa Needs Your Help! Santa already knows who’s on the Nice List, but he needs a little help from Union City Parks & Recreation to make sure his letters get to the right kids and the right mailboxes! 💌

If you’re out at Kiwanis Park today, be sure to stop by the Union City Parks & Recreation table! Spin the prize wheel, grab a pair of kid-friendly scissors while supplies last, and pick up information about all of our upcoming fall programs and events.

☀️ Last week, we wrapped up our 2026 Summer Camp season!

We finished the summer with Softball Camp and Art Camp II, and what a great way to end another fun season!

A huge thank you to Kristian Foulks for leading Softball Camp and Hilary Webb for leading both Art Camps. We are so grateful they gave their time and shared their talents to create such a fun experience for the kids in our community.

We'd also like to thank all of the families who participated in our summer camps this year. We appreciate your support and hope your children made memories that will last long after summer ends. We can't wait to see everyone again at future Union City Parks & Recreation events! 💚

📚✏️ Back to school time is almost here!

The Obion County Health Department is hosting its Back to School Bash on Saturday, August 1, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Kiwanis Park, and it's going to be a great day for families!

There will be school supplies, community resources, health education, activities, refreshments, and more.

While you're there, be sure to stop by the Union City Parks & Recreation table! 👋 We'll be handing out free safety scissors (while supplies last) and sharing information about all of the fun events we have coming up this fall. We'd love to see you!

We hope you'll come out and kick off the school year with us!

🎉 Exciting news for Veterans Park! 🎉

We're excited to announce that our brand new pavilion is officially complete and ready to enjoy!

Located right beside the new playground, this beautiful new space is the perfect spot for birthday parties, family gatherings, reunions, picnics, and more. We can't wait to see our community making memories here for years to come. ❤️

If you're planning your next celebration, the pavilion is now available to reserve!

Thursday UPDATE!!!!

💦 Splash Pad Update 💦

Due to scheduled maintenance taking longer than anticipated, the splash pad will remain closed until 4:00 p.m. today (Thursday, July 16).

We appreciate your patience as our Parks crew completes the maintenance. Finishing everything today will allow the splash pad to return to its normal operating schedule.

Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back this afternoon! ☀️🌊

🥎 Community Event Spotlight! 🥎

We've been asked to help spread the word about an upcoming Kickball Tournament that will be held at our baseball/softball complex!

❤️ 100% of the proceeds will benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
