** Update getting a lot of good feedback just sharing again for more input!**

Hello everyone!

My name is Kim, and as some of you already know, I serve as Zoning Officer and Constituent Services Representative for Union City Borough. In simple terms, I'm here to help residents and work on projects that bring our community together.

One idea I'd love to explore is organizing a Community Yard Sale in Union City. Before moving forward, I'd like to see how much interest there is from residents from both the Borough and Township.

If enough people are interested, I would help coordinate the event by collecting participating addresses and creating a map so shoppers can easily find all of the yard sales throughout the Borough and Township too!

Whether you'd be interested in hosting a yard sale, shopping the sales, or both, I'd appreciate your feedback.

Union City Borough is seeking proposals for the replacement of the rubber roof at the Union City Chair Office Building

Proposal Deadline: June 30, 2026, by 10:00 AM

Project Location: 18 Market Street, Union City, PA 16438

Scope: Remove and replace the existing rubber roof, install new R30 insulation, decking as needed, and .060 EPDM roofing per manufacturer specs. Includes warranties and compliance with prevailing wage rates.

Requirements: Certified roofing contractors only. Must provide references and proof of insurance. Davis-Bacon wage rates apply.

The Borough is hosting a Tire Recycling Day, this morning, June 6th from 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM at the Borough Garage.

Residents are welcome to bring up to 5 tires per household for disposal.
👉 Please make sure all rims are removed before dropping off your tires.

This is a great opportunity to safely and responsibly get rid of old tires and help keep our community clean!

The Erie County Department of Planning and Community Development is seeking an intern for the summer. The candidate must be 18 years old and should have some community planning related interests.

Some of the subspecialities in the department: land development, parks and trails, recycling, transportation, housing rehab, coastal zone management, bluff recession prevention. If you know people 18 and older with these interests, please prompt them to check out the link and flier.
