Union City Borough and Union Township are working with the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) to update our Joint Comprehensive Plan.

What is the survey for?
The survey gives residents, businesses, visitors, and community members a chance to share what they think is important for the future of our area. Your feedback will help identify community priorities, needs, and areas for improvement as we begin the planning process.

Whether you live in, work in, or visit Union City, we want to hear from you!

The Union Township Supervisors will be rescheduling their September monthly meeting for Wednesday, September 9th, 2026, at 7:00 P.M. at the Township Building located at 16450 Route 8, Union City, PA 16438. Regular business will be conducted.

The Union Area Regional Planning Commission will be holding a regular business meeting on September 1st, 2026, at 6:00 P.M. at the Township Building located at 16450 Route 8, Union City, PA 16438 to discuss public concerns regarding an amendment to the Union Township Data Center Ordinance.

The Union Township Blighted Property Review Committee will be holding a regular business meeting on September 23rd, 2026, at 6:00 P.M. at the Union City Borough Building located at 13 South Main Street, Union City, PA 16438.

Agendas for the meetings will be posted at least 24 hours in advance.

The Erie County Land Bank’s Master Homeowner Program is back. This program is a seven-class series educating homeowners on how to care for their home, property, and neighborhood. The 2026 series begins September 1st and will be free of charge to any Erie County residents.
