Every semester, SunComm partners with La Salle High School of Yakima for a job shadow program, which includes sit-ins at our dispatch center, ride-outs with the Yakima Police Department and the City of Yakima Fire Department, and guest speakers.

This week, the Yakima County Department of Corrections K9 Team visited, presenting on what it takes to become a correctional officer, a K9 handler, and, of course, they showed off the skills of Scout and Luka!!

Moxee PD, Yakima County Sheriff's Office, East Valley Fire Department, and East Valley School District will be hosting a training exercise at Moxee Elementary on March 24th from 4pm-6pm.

Law enforcement, fire, and 911 are aware of the exercise.
