A huge thank you to Brandon Freeman of United Way for the donation of Narcan. Even though we aren't a medical responding department, we do carry basic life support equipment such as AEDS, bag valve mask, and narcan. We are trained yearly on how to properly use this equipment.

A huge thank you to Carolina Foothills Foundation for their generous grant donation of 4500 dollars that has allowed us to purchase 3 AEDS. This ensures that every truck we have has an AED on it which is huge.

Mutual aid call we were able to assist Hudlow with.

Proud to stand beside our neighboring departments when the tones drop. It takes teamwork, training, and a whole lot of heart to serve our communities, especially after dark when most folks are home resting.

Our chassis has arrived at US Fire Manufacturing. Hopefully in the next 4 months, we will have our new Pumper/tanker.
We are very excited. This truck holds 1800 gallons of water and allows us to get more water on the scene quickly.

Happy Father’s Day from Union Mills Volunteer Fire Department! 🚒

Today we want to recognize all the dads, stepdads, grandfathers, father figures, and the men who show up with steady hands and strong hearts.

At Station 32, we know fatherhood and service have a lot in common. Both take sacrifice, patience, courage, long nights, early mornings, and the kind of love that shows up even when nobody is watching.

To the dads in our department, in our families, and throughout our community: thank you for leading, protecting, teaching, encouraging, and being the steady voice when life gets loud.

We hope your day is full of love, appreciation, and maybe even a little peace and quiet.
