Happy Bloomsday!

June 16th is a day for fans to celebrate the author James Joyce. Named after a day in the life of Leopold Bloom in Ulysses, this is also the day that he met his wife and muse, Nora Barnacle.

Here is some fun trivia about James Joyce:
1. He was born in Ireland, February 2, 1882.
2. He had astraphobia: a fear of thunder and lightning.
3. Due to his poor eyesight, he wrote his manuscripts with bright crayons.
4. He popularized stream of consciousness writing in Ulysses and Finnegan's Wake.

Finally. a quote from James Joyce, "There is no past, no future; everything flow in an eternal present."
