Everything for our college kiddo 🤓 went out the door with the case manager 😇 yesterday!!! And man, you all are getting pretty good at hiding your identities from me 🤣 (Admin Nikki)! Only a few receipts had names, so SHOUT-OUT 🎉 to donors Sue, Cindy F, " #" and many, many anonymous! We were also able to use funds to get him a little microwave 🔥 and mini fridge ❄️ off marketplace, and the mini fridge seller sent a box of snacks and sports drinks for him too 🥹!

It has been awhile since we received a wishlist request 📜, but we did today!
Let's talk about this extraordinary young man 👨‍🦰 who is asking for our help...

Several years ago, he was in foster care 🥺. He found what was supposed to be his forever home, but when things got hard, he was left to fend for himself 😭. Having the sense 🤔 to know he couldn't do this world 🌏 alone, he reached out to his local Children's Division office 😇 and ASKED to be brought back into foster care‼️ Yes, you read that correctly.
Since then, he has grown in AMAZING ways, and is now headed off to college 👨‍🏫!! With no familial support to help deck his dorm out, we get to be that family to bless him! Can we do it?! 🙏

IT'S SHOUT-OUT TIME!!! 🎉
Unfortunately, my (Admin Nikki's) phone ran out of storage and cleared the photo 📸 I had taken of all the Marvel/Star Wars/Lego items for our teen boy 👦 in the DMH home 🏡 that came in, and I delivered it all to the case worker 😇 on Thursday before it got deleted 😒. Anyway, he is all set to celebrate his birthday 🎁 and summer thanks to JG and A LOT of anonymous donors! YOU GUYS ROCK!! 🥰

After we did such a fantastic job 💪 helping to deliver some little birthday 🎂 wishes to our Pokémon kiddo, the case worker 😇 reached out about another youth 🧑 he has on his caseload. He is also in a DMH home 🏡 and has a birthday 🎂 over the summer. The worker 😇 is looking to provide him some gifts 🎁 that will also keep his hands 👐 busy!
