Franklin County Missouri Master Gardeners We strive to educate the community on all aspects of Horticulture as well as community beautification.

The purpose of the Franklin County Master Gardeners is to promote and provide education and information on Horticultural and Environmental Stewardship to its members, and the residents in the Franklin County Community.

Planted 250 Daffodil bulbs at exit 239 on I44
Participated in helping the Washington Community plant and Maintained various locations (Lucille Mauntel Flagpole garden, Lions Lake Bridge area, River Front Walking Trail, and Krog Park)

There may be one Master Gardener responsible for a project or several Master Gardeners responsible for a project or multiple projects.

Franklin County Master Gardeners will be having their 2016 Symposium on May 21, 2016 from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm at East Central College Training Center. There will be 16 classes, and each participant can select 4 classes. The cost is $25 for 4 classes. More details will follow for registration dates. Please mark your calendars for this fun date. There will be free seeds and door prizes, as well.

There are over 75 trees that enter the Festival of Trees and the public votes for their favorite by bringing in can goods and other food items that get divided amount three local food banks.
The Christmas trees are displayed at St. Peter's Church of Christ in Washington, MO every Christmas Holiday. Such a wonderful cause for our residents.
