Hello friends! On April 28th, the Union Adopt-a-Unit will be hosting the eighth running of the SPC Zachary Salmon Soldier Run at 10am at the Boone County Arboretum. We are expecting about 100 of our Soldiers from U.S. Army Ft. Campbell to attend. The race sign up goes live today through April 26th. This is a casual self-timed (or no time 😃) walk/run to remember Zach, support his family and our Bandits. Registration includes a fabulous t-shirt & dog tags. Hello everyone! It's race time again. We moved the race to April 28th 2024 so our Bandits could attend and now it is time to start planning the big event. This is the eighth running of the SPC Zachary Salmon Soldier Run and we would love to have your help with sponsorships. Hello friends! As you know our 1-32 CAV Bandit Soldiers have been deployed to Europe since March 2023. They will be returning home soon and their FRG at Ft. Campbell will be fixing up rooms for the single Soldiers. The FRG supplies bedding, toiletries, and snacks to welcome them home from this long deployment. Our Union Adopt-a-Unit is donating 80 sets of sheets to support our returning Bandits.
Amazon Prime is having a great sale on sheets today and tomorrow if anyone is interested in helping out. They need twin size sheets of any color you like! Please DM me if you want to help and I can give you the private address for shipping. We need about 80 more sets of sheets to welcome everyone back home without having to go shopping after they get off the plane.
