15 brand new sets of SCBAs, spare air bottles, and turnout gear: over $179,000

Receiving all the new gear without burdening local budgets: PRICELESS!!

UVFD was one of the 66 volunteer fire departments selected to receive new equipment set aside by our state government to aid volunteer departments in equipping their staff with the current technology and safety features available to the fire industry. UVFD is grateful state leadership made this grant opportunity available.

The station will be staying warm more efficiently thanks to the new heaters put in by Above All Heating and Air. Superb...

The station will be staying warm more efficiently thanks to the new heaters put in by Above All Heating and Air. Superb work by a very courteous and professional installation crew.

Thank you also to the Town of Uniondale for making this station upgrade a possibility.
