Fayette County Bureau of Investigations August Stats.

The Fayette County Bureau of Investigations conducted 7 narcotics investigations during the month of August. During these investigations the Fayette County Bureau of Investigations purchased and/or seized the following: 37 grams of crack co***ne and 30 grams of powder co***ne, The Fayette County Bureau of Investigations assisted with (2) two investigations conducted by federal, state and/or local municipal police agencies.

July 2026 Stats for the Fayette County Bureau of Investigations

The Fayette County Bureau of Investigations conducted 5 narcotics investigations during the month of July. During these investigations the Fayette County Bureau of Investigations purchased and/or seized the following: 8.5 grams of fentanyl, 37 grams of crack co***ne, 11 grams of powder co***ne, one (1) one handgun, two (2) sh****ns and one (1) sawed off sh***un.

The Fayette County Bureau of Investigations made three (3) arrests. The Fayette County Bureau of Investigations assisted with (3) three investigations conducted by federal, state and/or local municipal police agencies.

07/23/2026

On 07/22/26 the Fayette County Bureau of Investigations executed a search warrant at 509 East Francis St., Connellsville, Pa. The items seized were 10 grams of crack co***ne, (2) sh****ns, (1) sawed off sh***un, (1) .22 cal. Revolver and various drug paraphernalia. The resident Michael Murphree, W/N-M, 38 YOA, was arrested. Murphree was also found to have several warrants for his arrest.
*Murphree is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law*

Fayette County Bureau of Investigations June 2026 Stats.

The Fayette County Bureau of Investigations conducted 10 narcotics investigations during the month of June. During these investigations the Fayette County Bureau of Investigations purchased and/or seized the following: 3 grams of he**in, 51 grams of crack co***ne, 18 grams of powder co***ne and one (1) one handgun. The Fayette County Bureau of Investigations made one (1) arrest. The Fayette County Bureau of Investigations assisted with (4) four investigations conducted by federal, state and/or local municipal police agencies.

On June 23 the Fayette County Bureau of Investigations assisted the Uniontown City Police Department with a shooting that occurred at the intersection of Coffee St and Hogsett St., Uniontown City, Fayette County. The victim was an occupant of vehicle and as it past two males walking, one of the males fired into the vehicle, striking the victim. The victim was then driven to WVU Medicine - Uniontown Hospital for treatment where he was treated for non-life treating injuries. Through the investigation it was learned the actors were located at an event near Grant St. The Uniontown Police, Fayette County Bureau of Investigations, and the Pa. State Police arrived at the event and took the actors into custody without incident.

The actors were identified as a male juvenile, 14 YOA and Jamal Ford, 20 YOA. The juvenile was found to have fired the shots into the vehicle and was charged with Attempted Homicide and gun related charges. FORD was charged with conspiracy to commit homicide and gun related charges.

All individuals are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

On 06/16/26 Brandon Mitchell was encountered by Fayette County Bureau of Investigations during a traffic stop in Uniontown. Mitchell was taken into custody after a foot pursuit. Mitchell was found to be in possession of a handgun with an obliterated serial number. Mitchell also had warrants for his arrest from 2024 for Robbery, and gun related charges. He was lodged in the Fayette County Jail.
