Crime Stoppers Nonprofit that assists police in Fayette Co, PA by offering rewards to the public for information

Crime Stoppers of Fayette Co is a nonprofit organization that works directly alongside local law enforcement to help solve crimes in the region. We service a county of approximately 129,000 people from all walks of life. We are funded through donations, grants, and fund-raising events organized by our completely volunteer Board of Directors. These funds are used to reward our tipsters up to $1,000

per case for the valuable information they provide so that we can continue to support our local law enforcement's fight on crime. Driver turned himself in. Thank you for the assistance!

German Township PD is requesting assistance with a hit and run crash.

This crash occurred on October 10th, 2025 in the early morning hours between 0530 and 0700.

The truck (possibly green in color) and trailer attempted right hand turn off of Footedale Rd onto Balsinger Rd. Truck struck a utility pole, ripping the electric service from the residence and shearing the pole. The truck backed up, and left towards McClellandtown Rd. Truck is believed to be parked overnight in the Footedale/ New Salem area.

Call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 724-320-2042 with any information regarding wanted criminals or fugitives. In the event your tip leads to an arrest, you will be eligible for a reward and can remain anonymous if you choose to do so. Not to mention, you will be assisting law enforcement in getting the “bad guys” off the streets.

Our page is a helpful tool, but it takes the public citizens to make police work as effective as possible in order to keep our community a safe place to live!
