While Terri does an incredible job managing the many responsibilities that keep our business office running smoothly, what makes her truly special goes far beyond her job description.

With a warm smile, a huge heart, and a genuine willingness to help, Terri consistently goes above and beyond to support our team members, residents, and their families. Whether she’s lending a helping hand, offering a listening ear, or simply brightening someone’s day, Terri reminds us that the heart of senior living is truly about people. 🥰

Our weekly live music entertainment had everyone moving, grooving, and smiling this week as we welcomed the talented Bon Turner! 🎵 From tapping toes and clapping hands to singing along and dancing in their seats, our residents were truly feeling the music! There’s something truly special about the power of music to bring people together, lift spirits, and create beautiful memories! This week, our residents had an absolutely wonderful time welcoming Just JJ - Acoustic as part of our weekly live music entertainment! 🎸🎤

From singing along to familiar favorites and making special song requests to tapping their toes and sharing smiles, our residents were completely engaged and uplifted by the experience!

One of our favorite traditions at The Addison of Uniontown is making sure every new resident knows from the very first moment they arrive that they aren’t simply moving into a community; they are coming home. There's no better way to say “welcome home” than by literally rolling out the red carpet! Our team members and resident ambassadors lined up to greet Joanne, welcome her with open arms, and celebrate the beginning of this wonderful new chapter.

🎓🧠 Cue “Pomp and Circumstance!” 🎓🧠

Today was GRADUATION DAY at Brain Health University, and we could not be prouder! 🎉

Please join us in congratulating 10 of our amazing residents who officially graduated after completing our comprehensive 15-class Brain Health University program! 🎓👏

Led by our very own Certified Cognitive Trainer, Tara, Brain Health University is about so much more than completing a class. It is an ongoing commitment to supporting cognitive wellness, healthy aging, social connection, and lifelong learning.

Throughout the program, our residents put their minds—and even their taste buds—to work! 🧠🍓 They participated in activities designed to challenge the brain, stimulate memory and thinking skills, encourage conversation, and make cognitive wellness both social and FUN.

They also explored the many lifestyle factors that can support brain health, including anti-inflammatory foods, proper hydration, quality sleep, physical activity, nutrition, and meaningful cognitive engagement.

From brain-health-inspired foods like Greek yogurt, blueberries, and strawberries to interactive exercises that kept everyone thinking, talking, laughing, and learning, our residents embraced every part of the journey.

A very special thank you to Tara, whose dedication as their instructor and Certified Cognitive Trainer made these 15 classes educational, engaging, and meaningful. ❤️

And to our 10 newest Brain Health University graduates—CONGRATULATIONS! 🎓🧠🎉

You proved that learning never has an age limit and that taking care of our minds can be just as important as taking care of our bodies.

Class dismissed… diplomas earned! 🎓👏
