Transfer Tuesday

The Summer/Fall 2017 class profile indicates that there were 3,229 transfer students university-wide. 333 of these students came to University Park. It is our goal that when students transfer to University Park, they have a seamless and enjoyable transition. Coinciding with an initiative on the McKinney-Griggs platform, we hope to create increased accessibility for transfer resources. No matter what year a student comes to University Park, they should feel like they are two steps towards their future, never a step behind their classmates.

Mental Health Monday!

Exams, homework, clubs, friends. We understand how hard it is to balance life and the different emotions that come with being a college student. That’s why it’s important to take care of yourself and your mental health. We want to make sure that all students are aware of and have access to resources that help maintain their mental health. Our passion for improved mental health is highlighted in the McKinney-Griggs platform, with initiatives such as the creation of a Wellness Chair position for student organizations and finding a permanent, long-term locations for CAPS.

Hey Penn Staters! I’m Harry Weidner and I am running as an At-Large Representative for UPUA. I’m a rising sophomore majoring in Biochemistry with the intention of attending medical school after my four years here. Over the past year, I served on UPUA’s Freshman Council and then as an At-Large Representative. I’m excited to continue my involvement with UPUA while striving to make this university a better place for everybody.

I am Brady Feuer and am so happy to announce that I am running to be an At-Large Representative in UPUA's 14th Assembly! I am currently a freshman majoring in Mechanical Engineering with minors in Biomedical Engineering as well as Engineering Leadership Development. Hi everyone, I'm Bryan Culler and I'm running to be your College of Engineering representative! My major is aerospace engineering, and I'm so excited to work on behalf of so many other engineering students. During my first year at Penn State, I served as an At-Large Representative in UPUA, and the PR Chair for Engineering Undergraduate Council. When I'm not working for our student governments, I like to play pickup basketball or football, listen to music, and watch The Office.
