Penn State Horn Studio The Penn State Horn Studio is comprised of Undergraduate and Graduate students at the Penn State School of Music.

Horn students at the Penn State School of Music have the opportunity of studying with Distinguished Professor Lisa Bontrager, as well as performing with Penn State School of Music Ensembles and the Horn Ensemble (Spring term).

The Penn State Horn Studio is proud to present guest artist Amanda Collins tomorrow (Weds 2/2) at 3:30PM!

Ms. Collins is a graduate of the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University, Preparatory (certificate), Pennsylvania State University (BM) and Southern Methodist University (MM). She has studied under the tutelage of some of the finest living horn players, including Gregory Hustis, Lisa Bontrager, Larry Williams, Eli Epstein and Richard Deane. In 2017, Ms. Collins was appointed Principal horn of the Gateways Festival Orchestra, an ensemble featuring professional musicians of African descent. Ms. Collins is also a passionate educator and is currently Assistant Teaching Professor of French Horn at the University of Missouri.

We are incredibly excited and looking forward to meeting her tomorrow via Zoom!
